Projects of Heart (POH) is a nonprofit organization founded in the United States by a medical doctor and a doctor in education, with the goal to provide humanitarian services in developing countries around the world. Our founders believe that community service is one way of reaching out to people who need help.
At Projects of Heart, we recruit volunteers from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and other developed countries. We provide our volunteers with;
1. Assistance through the application process, visa and travel arrangements
2. Airport pick-up and drop-off service
3. Accommodation
4. Food
5. A 24/7 support from our local and US/Canada staff
6. A free Projects of Heart T-Shirt
7. A Projects of Heart Certificate of Recognition to be issued upon completion of your project
8. Transportation to exciting tourist attraction sites in our destination countries.
*Additional costs must be paid individually.
9. A farewell BBQ or dinner get-together for volunteers leaving.
